MEET THE CHIROPRACTOR
DR. CHRIS HASHIMOTO
Chiropractor
Dr. Chris Hashimoto is originally from the small town of Porcupine Plain, SK. He took a meandering route to chiropractic college, having first completed a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University in 1996. He got his start in journalism at the Almonte Gazette and the Carleton Place Canadian, but had no idea that he would one day return to this part of the world to build a chiropractic practice and raise a family. He left the area in 1999 to pursue post-graduate studies at Loyalist College in Belleville. After graduation in 2000, he worked for a time in Monterrey, Mexico and then in Toronto, before finally deciding to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Chris graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2007 and began his chiropractic career in Toronto. He and his wife moved to Almonte in 2008 and he set up his first clinic in Barrhaven, next door to his sister and brother-in-law's medical clinic. In 2009, he started the Almonte clinic inside the Almonte Fitness Centre. Recently he made the tough decision to close his Barrhaven clinic in order to focus on his Almonte practice, which continues to grow. It was a wonderful 14 1/2 years for Dr. Chris in Barrhaven, and he truly hopes that many of his Barrhaven patients will continue to see him in the Almonte clinic.
Dr. Chris prides himself on his patient-focused practice model which allows him to get to know each patient and treat their individual concerns. The best part of his career is his patients - he loves getting to know each unique patient and help them achieve their fullest potential.
He lives in Mississippi Mills with his wife and their three children.
